ngrok (and Cloudflare tunnels) punch a public URL to a local port. They are not an inspector, a local name, or a phone mesh.
Where they win. People who only need a public URL and already live in that dashboard.
The difference. 1NetworkTool default-locks expose: password or bearer, single route, 30-minute TTL, tray kill. Cloudflare quick tunnel is the default plug. Paste an ngrok token if you want that plug instead.
